If tickets are not sold out before the event, there will be tickets for sale on-site. However, we will announce when we're close to being sold out for any of the days.

Please note that we cannot verify the authenticity of tickets bought from third parties. We therefore advise our customers to buy tickets directly from the official convention shop (Hamburg Messe und Congress).

No, our tickets do not include a valid ticket for local transport in Hamburg.

Children under the age of 7 may only enter if accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
Children between the ages of 7 and 16 require written consent from a parent or guardian to purchase a ticket and gain access to the fair. Children aged 16 and over can enter unaccompanied with a regular day ticket. From the age of 18, tickets may be purchased online.

Note for families visiting Polaris on Saturday:

As we expect a particularly lively and energetic atmosphere on this day, we would like to recommend that all families with younger children visit us on Sunday to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Yes, they are available in two different sizes: 27 x 50 x 39cm (WxDxH) and 56 x 50 x 39cm (WxDxH). The deposit for usage is 1€, please make sure to have coins on you or bring a shopping chip. Bigger bags and suitcases can be handed in at the wardrobe for a fee.

Yes, that's no problem. Please pick up a tyvek wristband at the exit as you leave. You must still be able to show your valid ticket if you are asked upon entering the convention again.

If you would like to hand in a lost property item, you can do so at the congress information desk and at the POLARIS information desk, where you can also ask for a lost item if you have lost something yourself.
The location of the two information points will be announced shortly.

No, unfortunately there are available ATMs within the halls or the exhibition centre. However, there is one in the nearby at the Dammtor station.

You can use this question to contact employees of the convention with any problem: Have you noticed something strange? Do you feel uncomfortable, harassed or bothered? The crowd is getting too much for you? Have you been attacked (verbally or physically) Including everything where help may be needed, even beyond sexual harassment (aggression, fights, etc.) - the word ensures that you are removed from the situation quickly and without further questions, the team will make sure to help the person as soon as possible.

The following groups of people understand ‘Do they have mashed potato here?’: Security staff and Volunteers. The crew will offer you their help without further questions or comments and take you or the person seeking help to a protected environment.

Of course, the team on site also responds to the safe word of previous years: ‘Adventureland’/‘Where is Adventureland?’/„Abenteuerland“/“Wo geht es hier zum Abenteuerland?“!

Yes, the registration form is expected to be available in summer 2025.

In our POLARIS CONVENTION app, you can experience the convention interactively via your smartphone in addition to the programme.
For example: you can collect points by scanning QR codes, make friends and take part in giveaways.

You're allowed to bring small amounts of snacks and drinks, but please make sure not to bring entire backpacks or bigger bags full of food and drink items.

Yes, you are welcome to livestream from the POLARIS (without specific permission). However, please make sure that you have enough space around you and that no visitors feel disturbed.

Which creators can be meet through stage programme or a meet and greet, can be viewed in the programme overview as soon as it is published.

Naturally, dangerous items are not allowed to be brought into the convention center. Our team will randomly check bigger bags in the entrance area. All bags that are bigger than standard backpacks have to be stored in the coin lockers or left at the wardrobe.

Absolutely. If you have a "B" or "H" on your document, your helper will receive free entry and be able to get the ticket on-site. We require the necessary documentation to be able to hand out the ticket.

Absolutely! Here is where you will find a map of the convention center and the surrounding area to be able to navigate it more easily. 

Regular dogs are not permitted in the convention center. However, this does not apply to service and police dogs.

No, smoking and the use of vapes is not permitted in any of the halls. Please use the outdoor areas.

Of course you are allowed to bring a camera to the event and take photos. However, make sure you always ask for permission to take photos and do not disturb other visitors during their visit.

An extendable tripod for smartphones or selfie sticks can be used in the halls as long as they do not disturb other visitors.
Larger tripods for cameras or (mobile) softboxes may not be used in the event as they would disturb other visitors.

Foldable handcarts or similar items may not be used during the event, as this would cause a disturbance for other visitors.

In order not to restrict other visitors, roller skates, skateboards, e-scooters and similar aren't allowed at the convention. Of course, you can leave these at the wardrobe at the entrance for a fee.
